Colosseum:
It's real name is Flavio Amphitheatre, to all it is known as the Colosseum and referred to as the symbol of the city of Rome around the world .. It was built in 72 d.C. by Vespasiano and completed eight years later by his son Titus. The Colosseum was comparable, for its time, to our stadiums, although the spectators were very different from those of today.

Capitoline Hill:
Symbolic of Rome's authority from the past to the present day. The current array of buildings date back to the XVI century. When Michelangelo created the splendid square and the imposing staircase of Cordonata. Two of the three buildings house the Capitoline Museums.

Pantheon:
The Roman temple dedicated to all the gods (in Greek pantheon means "Temple of all the gods") was built by Vipsanio Agrippa in 27 a.C at its baths in Campo Marzio in Rome, was completely rebuilt by the emperor Adriano (120-125 c.a. d.c). In VII century it was transformed into a church dedicated to Mary and the Martyrs.

Trevi Fountain:
The most famous fountain in Rome, the work of the architect Salvi created in 1735 under Pope Clement XII. The sculptures narrate various events related to the discovery of the source from where the waters feed the fountains.

Piazza di Spagna:
The focal point of the square is the Spanish steps of the Trinita di Monti, built in 1726 by Francesco De Sanctis attached to the Pincio and provides a wonderful background, composing one of the most animated and pictorial architectural scenes. The work, thankfully due to its architecture and grandeur come together wonderfully, making this one of the finest developments by the eighteenth century Roman.

Piazza Navona:
Piazza Navona is one of the most spectacular and popular squares in Rome. It is an urban complex derived from Baroque, in shape and size, with Domiziano stadium underneath it. First built in 86 d.C. (it was 275 metres long, 106 wide and could hold about 30,000 spectators) on an area of Campo Marzio, which existed under Caesar and Augustus with a wooden fence where Nerone had built an amphitheatre for five-yearly games.

St Peter's:
The striking square with Bernini columns, create the backdrop to the biggest church in Christianity that is dominated by the majestic dome of Michelangelo. Construction of the basilica extends through the XVI century. with work by Michelangelo, Giacomo della Porta and Domenico Fontana. The basilica stands on the foundations of an early Christian church, where tradition saw them build over the tomb of the Apostle's.
